Can
I rent for more than one week but for less than two
weeks?
Most landlords allow us to extend a one-week rental
by a few days. If so, you will be billed on a pro rated
basis.

Do
I have to rent the sheets?
It is like when you're at the hotel. Bed linen, towels
and cloths are always included in the rental.

Do
I have to clean up?
On your arrival, the place will have been cleaned. Landlords
assume responsibility of housework on arrival and departure;
however, it would be appreciated if you left the premises
clean.

How
should I proceed once I'm ready to occupy the premises?
The landlord will be informed of your arrival time and
will be waiting for you; therefore, it is essential
that you provide us with the most precise arrival time.
A
few landlords will require you to confirm the exact
time of arrival immediately after you landed at the
airport.
When
this applies, it will be noted on your lease agreement.
On
your arrival, someone other than the landlord (a friend
or family member) might be waiting for you if he/she
is not available.

How
to pay?
A deposit has to be paid at the time of reservation.
The amount varies between 25% and 60% according to each
landlord's rental policy. The amount will be withdrawn
from your credit card (Visa or Master Card). Generally,
the rest of the payment will have to be made in the
currency of the country on your arrival at the premises.
If
desired, the total amount of the rental can usually
be paid at the time of reservation.

Will
there be any hidden costs?
Most of the time, the amount appearing in the rental
contract will include everything. Any
extra costs will be written in the description corresponding
to the accommodation of your choice. For example,
you might have to pay for electricity. If so, it will
be clearly stated in the description box of the selected
accommodation.
Taxes
are generally included in the amount, except on extremely
rare occasions. If not, a notification in this regard
will be made to you during your inquiry.

What
is your cancellation policy?
The deposit is not refundable in case of a cancellation.
We suggest you make sure you are covered by a health
insurance plan in case of health problems abroad. If
not, credit cards such as Visa Odyssée Gold card
will protect you in case of a cancellation for illness.
Your travel agent can also provide you with the appropriate
health insurance in this regard.

Can
the landlord transport the tenants from the airport
to the rented premises?
On occasion, some landlords may offer to pick you up
at the airport and drive you to the premises, or they
can have someone else do it. In some cases, it is free,
and in another it isn't. It is generally stipulated
in the payment clause of the contract.

How
can I find the best way to get to the rented premises?
Generally, the best way to travel from the airport to
the rented premises is indicated on the lease agreement.
When the rented premises are found in a metropolitan
district, the contact person who advised you will provide
you with the best way to take.

Does
my cell phone work in Europe?
Canada's and US's cell phones don't work in Europe since
the distance to cover is too great for the networking
system. As soon as you arrive, we suggest that you buy
a phone card that can be used from any telephone booth
whether you call locally or worldwide.
